This course will teach skills and tasks that build on the Nurse Aide 1 class.
Student will learn to perform tasks such as oxygen therapy, suctioning, tracheostomy, break up and removal of fecal impaction, sterile dressing change / wound irrigation, IV fluid assistance activities, elimination procedures, nutritional activities, urinary catheters, and the role of CNA II in the healthcare team. Student must have taken and passed CNA I.
