This course prepares individuals to take the state-approved state competency exams with special emphasis on clinical skills test-taking. The student must have an expired CNA I license along with experience taking care of the elderly. This course does not substitute for a state-approved course of 105 hours.

*Total cost does not include CPR, TB test. Care One offers CPR classes ($65) for students without an up-to-date card and TB tests ($30) for those that do not have an up-to-date test.

Mandatory Requirements
1) Social Security Card
2) Picture ID – Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, or other Legal DMV ID
Must be complete. If you are currently attending a higher level of learning and are not finished, use the completed transcript from your lower level education.
Must be navy blue, the cost is $30. If a student wishes to buy/use their own navy blue uniform, that is allowed. Uniform must have the Care One logo on it, and the cost for logo placement is $10.
Requirements for verification MUST be one of the following:
An expired North Carolina Nurse Aide I listing with no substantiated findings within the last 2 years;
A current Nurse Aide I listing from another state with no substantiated findings; OR,
An expired out-of-state listing with no substantiated findings within the last 2 years.
