Pharmacy Technician

This course provides the student with skills that are important in assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication. The student will be trained in medication order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging, use of a prescription balance, HIPAA privacy act and computers. This program prepares graduates for certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technicians. Upon satisfactory completion of this course, the students are eligible to take the National Certification Exam.

Mandatory Requirements

1) Social Security Card

2) Picture ID – Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, or other Legal DMV ID

Must be complete. If you are currently attending a higher level of learning and are not finished, use the completed transcript from your lower level education.

Must be navy blue, the cost is $30.  If a student wishes to buy/use their own navy blue uniform, that is allowed. Uniform must have the Care One logo on it, and the cost for logo placement is $10.

Must be ordered through school at the time of registration. All types of felony or misdemeanor convictions, those that are pending, and questionable histories will be reviewed by the director of the institute or designee.
